What the Students will Learn: ELD Standards

The California Department of Education provides a blueprint of skills that English Language Learners (ELLs) will be learning by each grade level.  These are in addition to the core curriculum standards.  Below is an abbreviated list of key ELD standards to focus on at each grade level.  For the complete list of standards please click here. 

Kindergarten
  • Listen with understanding
